I started my studies at E-artsup Paris not knowing what to expect, and had a blast all troughout my first year.
It was a very interesting experience, and helped me understand the fundamentals of game design and programming.
At the end of the year, I made a little game called Observer '89, where the player can interact with a computer game to solve puzzles.
Continued studies at E-Artsup Paris, second year. I learned how to build web apps, phone apps and made a local multiplayer games at the end of the year called Buzzzin Fright.
It was a very productive year because I was familiarized with OOP concepts such as the Observer Pattern, Object Pooling, ECS...
Buzzzin Fright's concept is that one player controls the humans, and the others control a team of mosquitoes. I had to work on two completely different player controllers in the span of 5 weeks.
That last year was very special to me because I had to work with a single team for 9 months, in order to release a game for our finals.
I was familiarized with physics mathematics during the whole year because we decided to make a 3D platformer called Crazy Blast
It was an absolute banger of a game, and helped me be very familiar with Game Architecture. After that year, I felt like I could do anything!
